HH Calibration: When less than 100% O2

Whats the proper procedure for calibrating your HH unit if you have say 98% O2?

    Officially.. go get 100%

Unofficially, you can either calibrate on 98% (assuming the mv is high enough) and mentally note what the error on the displayed po2 will be, and know that the deco information will have an error also..

or, you can build some type of overpressurization rig, look at "accurate po2 calibration" for an example, hardware solution..

I don;t know how much overpressurization the Optima can handle, I know the Inspiration cannister will withstand 5psi without damage (but not much more)

Yea, i've just been flushing then adding 02 (over pressure) until i see the mvs climb to ~52-53

I know the Optima will take more than enough pressure to bring 98% to 1.0po2 (you only need 0.3psi)

    Thanks Joe
