SF2 currently without CE Certification - unsellable in Europe?

There is an ongoing discussion in Taucher.net https://taucher.net/forum-sf2_ohne_ce_-ioz88693
that the CE certification has lapsed for the SF2. Also that SF2s sold after the switch to the Petrel in 2013 were incorrectly using the CE certification issued by the notified body based on a SF2 unit as tested with Predator controller.

It doesnt matter if it is a Rebreather or a Baby toy... the rule applies for all products sold on the European Union.

ANY change to the specifications of the product that was certified involves a recertification. So the CCR must have a different certification for each type of the controller it uses.

If the certification expires than you product is not certified any more... either is a SF2 or a toy.
