    Hi from Sicily

    Hello everybody,
My name is Eugenio, I live in Sicily, Italy, a really beautiful place for divers.
I've been diving on OC for many years, went through the steps of recreational and technical certifications (although not on trimix) and only very recently, at the age of 60, I've been intrigued by rebreathers.
I find the idea of longer, warmer and quite dives very appealing so I've started reading all the documentation I could grab on the web about the subject (many thanks also to Dr. Simon Mitchell for his wonderful articles and presentations) in order to understand and take over the concern (I should say "fear") of higher risk of incidents that can occur to a reb diver.
The reason for joining this community is part of my education process. I don't own a rebreather yet and, like many other newcomers before me, I hope that by reading the different opinions given by the many experienced reb divers of this forum, I can further increase my knowledge and also make up my mind on what kind of unit better suits my needs.

Many thanks for having me here,
    Eugenio

    Re: Hi from Sicily

Thank you Nad. Yep, I'm going to the EUDI, looking forward to meeting personally some of the experts I've talked to only by phone, and I'm also thrilled by the possibility to touch-'n-feel some of the units I've only seen on pics or youtube. It's a very good opportunity.
    All the best,
    E.
