    glue- inside the breathing loop

    Hi,

I would need to glue/seal something inside the breathing loop.
(tempstick cable of my AP Vision - where it enters the tempstick)
What can I use without putting my health on risk, a simple glue gun?

    Regards,
    Scotty

Yea apparently the US Navy sees no adverse off gassing from hot glue.

But hot glue is fairly brittle, so if the area wants to flex it might be a poor choice. Any way you can use a cable gland?

Soft polyurethane potting compound works well but you need to let it off-gas for a week or so to let any isocyanates out.

Opened it and decided to swap the stick. The cable in my stick is too short and I don´t see that my repair would last long.
