    Hollis Prism2 HUD issue

    Hi guys,
I have a DiveCan Hollis Prism2 with shearwater handset and HUD. The issue I have is as follows.
The hand set monitors the PO2 no issue and works perfectly. The HUD though, just blinks red in all 4 corners.
I have tested the connections of the hud into the head and also the connector which seems good.
    Any ideas??
    The manual says comms error??

    Thanks in advance.

What happens if you connect the Petrel in place of the HUD?

When I swap over the HUD gives a PO2 reading and handset says no connection.

Sounds like you've narrowed it down to something inside the head. Perhaps it's a loose connection or a bad board. I'd recommend getting it to a trained technician.

My thoughts as well. I was also wondering if a firmware update to the SOLO would help at all? Im sure its running V07 at the moment. I do not have the unit to hand to check, but I'm pretty sure it was V07. Would this make a difference?

That question surpasses my expertise, but I doubt it.

IIRC, that is the low battery message. Either bad battery or connection some where. Its the SAFT in the head.

Three yellow LEDs on for 30 seconds after power-on is the low battery indicator.

The manual says if the four corners light up, to call Hollis.
