Genesis DPVs and batteries now able to ship via air cargo!

The US Dept of Transportation has issued a special permit so that we can now ship the Genesis DPVs and their batteries via air cargo. No more waiting 6-10 weeks for ocean freight outside the US!

They still need to ship as Class 9 Dangerous Goods (DG), due the the lithium batteries, so customers need to be in a location that can receive Dangerous Goods. (some smaller islands and remote locations do not have FedEx DG service)

Awesome. So I'm guessing we still cant ship on passenger airlines though right? Does the Class 9 Dangerous Goods require an additional fee? Well done Jon! And thanks for getting my Sentry squared away.

Correct, no dice on the passenger airplanes (...yet) and yes, they charge extra for all that paperwork that goes along with dangerous goods shipments.
