Diving after Distal Bicep Tendon Surgery

    Hi everyone

I recently had distal bicep tendon surgery to repair a complete separation on my right bicep. I am at 8 weeks post OP and have fairly good range of motion back along with 60% strength. I was wondering how long I should wait before starting back diving? The way I see things the difficult part is getting the gear loaded in/out of the boat and climbing out of the water post dive. I feel that I can easily manage this however was looking for anyone that has experience with this sort of recovery. Thanks

I would gear up in your house and try to do a pushup.

I just came back after hernia surgery and I waited an extra 2 weeks where I made sure I could start some light workouts with no issue.

Wouldn't want to strain something and go backwards
