    DiveCan question

    Ok- a question, since I have a very old (now) rEVO, and nobody I know has a new one. The divecan/cell interface. Is the cell analog signal converted at a board inside/near the loop and then the digital signal is sent through the subconn connector to the shearwater handset, or is the analog signal sent through the connector to the handset?

    In rEvo DiveCAN systems, there is a board below the scrubber. This board connects to the sensors with a short cable. The signal is then transmitted over the CAN bus to the other nodes in the system.

    Bruce, on a non-RMS DiveCAN rEvo, I take that the CAN node is in the battery box? Whereas in the RMS units there would be separate nodes in the solenoid and O2 boards...
