    rEvo Lung Size

Have been diving a 'standard' rEvo for the last 4 years I'm beginning to suspect that I do not need its 7 litre lung capacity.
Just wondering are there any simple indicators people use to establish if the lungs are too big for them?

Most people do just fine with the rEvo micro unless you are very tall!

    Thanks Claudia
If lung size is a non issue I'm trying to establish if there is a benefit to changing from the standard to a micro. I'm about 1.93M tall (6ft 3').

    rEvo is all you need!!!!

    Re: rEvo Lung Size

I changed from a standard to a micro. Had no problems with the lung size. Had a stand to start with but ditched that also . I'm not as tall as you, I'm 1.87m

    rEvo Micro FT

    Re: rEvo Lung Size

Also, the CE version of the micro has 5.5L lung volume, compared to 4.5L non-CE version, which might lessen any noticeable effect of reduced lung volume...

    Hey Cathal,

Benefit: you will be able to find a nice roller carry-on for travel (if that matters to you). The other benefit is that too much loop volume (unless you control that well) does not have any benefits:

Also for the few people who actually need more loop volume in the rEvo will install spacers in their micro which gives them additional counterlung volume.

    Safe diving :)
