    PLB Cannister Recommendations

    Recommendations sought for a tough reliable waterproof PLB canister depth rated to 150M, please.

    The Custom Divers canister is the only one I know of. The seal is threaded, so it can be hard to open after a dive and you have to be careful closing it, but it does the job and it's a nice size

    LightMonkey may be willing to sell a can and solid lid if one of theirs is the right size. There are a bunch of old can light canisters out there that a solid lid could be easily turned for. My Stealth light and an older Salvo both could take 450 fsw.

    You could also consider making one out of schedule 80 pvc, with a cap at one end and a threaded cleanout (with an oring, of course) at the other). I made a can light canister years ago like that.
