Havent been able to find the lp72's yet, a higher pressure 72 I found...

lp72's are usually accepted to be neutral with a valve in them, but there is variation between different manufacturers, but assuming they're neutral when empty with a valve is pretty close to real

Hmm, gotta admit, the lp85s are attractive, blown up abit, although not sure how you are getting an additional 40cf per tank, blowing up to 3600psi?

    3600psi cave fills

40cf? An lp85 at 3600psi is just over 100cf depending on the helium content and compressibility.

What do you need ~105cf of a gas for in OW anyway? If you need this much to get up to your next available gas you probably need a deeper deco gas instead.

A faber 85 is 13 liters. Assuming linear volume:pressure ratios, it holds 114cf at 3600psi. 40cf more than an AL80 which is 77.4 at 3000psi. Obviously with different compression ratios it's closer to 110, but once you factor in the fixed pressure reserves required, it's close enough to 50% more gas than an AL80 when cave filled. In OW, that is a LOT of bailout gas, in a cave? not so much...

I've got to much bailout gas, says no one ever. On our 4 hour dives
We're carrying at least another 40 for bailout, so 2 blown lp85s is attractive from that aspect alone
