    explorer cost

    Hey does anyone know how much it costs to service the Hollis Explorer, and annual running costs?

    We just had ours done. It wasn't much, maybe $300 each including parts.

    As for annual costs, say $200 for sensors (based on a rolling change of one sensor every five months). Nitrox and sorb, well, how much diving do you do?

    1.5kg or sorb at your local cost plus 5l fill of nitrox, once again at your local cost.

    Just saying, but have you considered a second hand inspo? Prices are pretty low lately.

    Are we now talking about the famous "Yellow Box of Death" abbreviated as YBOD?

    How about buying something manufactured in this millenium or at least this decade, with modern electronics - that doesn't need to be recently factory serviced to keep from being locked out?
    It'll cost a lot more, but will probably be resellable for more than the ~1000 Quid that an Inspiration brings used.
