    Hello fellow divers

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, looking for more knowledge on the whole rebreather subject. I'm from michigan and am currently using scuba to explore our rich shipwreck history, but am progressing towards the end goal of using a rebreather to continue my career. A lot of our wrecks are in 200ft+ of water, which everyone knows is not ideal or safe for traditional air. So as my experience grows, I would like to have an idea of what to look for when buying a good reliable rebreather. My purchase will likely be a few years off, but having a good inclination of what to get will be very helpfull.
As for my history I began exploring our lakes when I was 8 years old. My main focus for diving is exploring the shipwrecks which range in depth from 15ft to 575ft. My father is a former u.s. navy hard hat diver, so I have had an excellent teacher from a very young age, learning the basics and gaining comfort in the cold water. I became officially certified in 2011 through SSI, and have been continuing to expand my career. I look forward to reading other divers experiences and enjoying the sport or lifestyle of diving
