    Giant Cave, Belize.

So i've been down here in Belize for the past few months. My partner has taken a veterinary contract for around a year.

Cranking out the ccr cave exploration hours with Chip Petersen, owner of Belize diving services (BDS). On one particular dive, we found this. A fully intact Mayan pot, 2300 years old according to a mayan ceramics expert. Its been fully reported to the relevant Belize authorities. Its about 2500 feet from the entrance. We have found nothing else worthy of report in the same room. Thanks to Chip for the fun times and BDS for the support. We have focused on giant cave, with other caves in the region taking second seat. We are active in exploring on the mainland and also other caves such as winter wonderland, a short distance from the shop by boat.

BDS offers full CCR support, guided cave dives, CCR and open circuit cave instruction and CCR instruction. oh and now scooter rentals! Of course, BDS also offers two 46 foot newton dive boats with daily departures to caye caulker marine reserve, blue hole, turneffe, and san pedro.

We are currently working hard on a re-survey and mapping effort. Giant has around 18,000 feet of line at least, probably more.
