    Re: Quick Disconnect For Bailout

The adaptors from Martin arrived today so I can finally start to rig my bailout the way I planned it. One question though, should I use PTFE tape on the QD male ends into the adaptors or just tighten them up well? Mmm. Test fitting the adaptors looks like there might be a problem here. Have emailed Martin as the adaptors only go on halfway.

Martin got back to me and educated me on how the NPT thread works as I didn't realise it was tapered. Anyway, PTFE tape added and everything together. Will see if it is gas tight in the morning but in the meantime this is how it looks.
