    Dive planning software recommendation

Can anyone recommend software that would allow me to plan bailout taking into account a 2 litre bottle of oxygen on top of Two Ali 80' s?
I think this could be done with decochek but it doesn't appear to be available anymore.

Pastodeco has a pretty good CCR bailout planner. It calculates your gas requirements so you can make sure it fits in with the bottles you're carrying and allows you to input the bottle sizes you have which is nice. Free version is somewhat limiting, but it's pretty cheap to get both the smart phone version and the desktop version

It may well be that I don't fully understand how Multideco works.
It doesn't seem to be able to calculate a profile taking into account that I have only 2 litres of oxygen and for the sake of argument an unlimited supply of 50%.
It seems to calculate 'ideal world' gas quantities rather than what I have.

You can plug in what gases you have available, and at what depth you wish to switch as well.

not sure what your trying to do ,

I dont use said planner , but if you run the profile / dive gas plus the 50mix as deco
    then add a 2nd way point at 6m on 02 ,

you should be able to see what you need and be able to fanny in that 400l / 2l cylinder

    maybe this will help

    Waypoint at 60m for 30:00 (31) on Trimix 18.0/40.0, PPO2 1.252, END 36
    Waypoint at 6m for 12:00 (62) on 100% Oxygen, PPO2 1.596, END 6
    Norm Stop at 21m for 1:00 (34) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 1.543, END 21
    Norm Stop at 18m for 2:00 (35) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 1.394, END 18
    Norm Stop at 15m for 3:00 (38) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 1.245, END 15
    Norm Stop at 12m for 5:00 (43) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 1.096, END 12
    Norm Stop at 9m for 7:06 (50) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 0.947, END 9
    Norm Stop at 6m for 18:00 (80) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 0.798, END 6

    TOTAL DECO TIME: 36 minutes.
    DIVE RUN TIME: 80 minutes.
    CNS Total: 49.0%
    OTU's: 98

    Time to Fly: 6.0 Hours

    4399.6 Ltr. of 18.0/40.0 consumed.
    813.1 Ltr. of 50.0% consumed.
    385.0 Ltr. of 100.0% consumed.
5597.6 Ltr. total open circuit gas consumed.

or run the profile with bottom gas with 50 and o2 ,
then add in more 50mix time at 6m 2nd way point till you end up with 400l o2 used

    Waypoint at 60m for 30:00 (31) on Trimix 18.0/40.0, PPO2 1.252, END 36
    Waypoint at 6m for 8:00 (58) on Nitrox 50.0, PPO2 0.798, END 6
    Norm Stop at 6m for 20:00 (77) on 100% Oxygen, PPO2 1.596, END 6

    TOTAL DECO TIME: 38 minutes.
    DIVE RUN TIME: 77 minutes.
    CNS Total: 59.8%
    OTU's: 106

    Time to Fly: 6.0 Hours

    4399.6 Ltr. of 18.0/40.0 consumed.
    722.9 Ltr. of 50.0% consumed.
    368.5 Ltr. of 100.0% consumed.
5491.0 Ltr. total open circuit gas consume

ps im not saying you should use the aboue to dive with , lol dont want you getting all bent they are just test profiles to help you get the best from your planner ,

i know of a v simple way to do this with no need to tell the planner feek all about the o2 / 400l but ill give that one a miss , maybe it will come to you with out more help ,

good luck . remember eating one large dog may be just as filling as eating two small one s lol id not want to over face my salf so maybe

one big dog is the same as 1.5 small dogs

    The penny has finally dropped

It takes half the time to deco with oxygen compared to nitrox 50 at 6m

It just shows, it is easy to rely totally on software without fully understanding or thinking through what you are doing.
...work out the dive profile for 50% deco, then if you want to modify it and speed it up by finishing on pure oxygen just reduce the original time by half the time that the oxygen is breathed.

Thanks for the replies everyone, it has been a well worthwhile exercise.

i be happy to say that the 20mins you have in the 2l o2 cylinder will / should be as good as doing 30 to on that 50mix you have ,

40mins of o2 is needed to cover 60mins off 50%

    have fun be safe ,
