3000-5000 lumen lights, depth rated 200m

    Hello!

I have been shooting some video recently, mainly using 2x2000 lumen light and motion LED lights - which are great for their size.
They have several power levels which is very useful to reduce backscatter in lower visibility conditions.
Some of my videos are posted under the video section of this website eg. shipwreck videos.

I am wondering about up-grading my video lights, ideally to about 2x the power.
    And also for deeper use.
The lights I have are "only" rated to 100m.
I am looking for lights that are rated to say 150 or even 200m.
Ideally LED as I need them to be robust.

Any suggestions based on experience ?

    Thanks and regards, Jules.

    Hi Jules,
    Have a look http://www.northernlightscuba.fi/?lang=en
They have what you are looking for. You might even ask little modifications etc. for your set up.
    Cheers Jari

I've got a NLS 40W Superspot lighthead with built in dimmer, shortly afterward sold a total of 5 HID lightheads (3x 21W welch-allyn, a 14W Welch-Allyn and an older 10W Welch-Allyn), and I'm so happy with the NLS that I'll buy another one in the first quarter of 2015.

check out the uwld video heads. Pretty beefy lights. You get five intensity settings, 6k, 5k, 4k, 3k, 900 lumen, just over 3 hours burn time on high, and something like 30 hours on low. 200m depth rated and used past 150m regularly.

If money is no object have a chat to Corey at Light Monkey about his custom made 200W HMI's... maybe a bit more light than you need but would definitely do the job.
