How many time did your suits have to be serviced for you to stay dry?
Curious about which options you took with the suit too.

The suit is about 9 years old and was a display suit for a long time prior. After 5 years of heavy use I had to replace the zipper. The seams and material have never needed any repairs. I had had the normal replacement intervals on both the wrist and neck seals. It came with boots but I finally changed them to socks for personal preference. I have had to clean out the dump valve a couple of times due to crap making it leak from tight cave crawls.

I got a little over 500 dives on it before the zipper started to leak.

Wow that's a solid durability test, thanks for sharing :)
I presume you got a metal zipper (considering their YKK zip, which apparently works well when lubricated)

Cant help but comment that on this side of the pond they don't seem to have gained a reputation for the bulletproof performance as illustrated on this thread. I don't dive one but I am aware of a number of significant failures of Santi suits in the last 4-5 years e.g. an entire suit flood on a suits first dive (metal zip) followed up with numerous leaks in the seams, one model having a number of punctures in its firsts season on wrecks, it is now covered in at least 4-5 places with tear-aid are typical examples etc. Also customer service was commented on as not the best when they were getting some of these issues sorted. Just giving you a balanced feed back from others, buyer beware as they say.

I am resurrecting this 3 years old thread because i am now considering a Santi drysuit and would like to hear if people who participated here are still happy with their Santi suits.
Indeed, 3 years later your suits may have been through a lot and i am keen to know how they've done.
Quoting your post Dsix in particular because the Enduro is one of the models i am interested about, along with Elite and possibly Emotion P'us.
Basically i am after a very tough suits so that i am not too worry when being washed on rocks after shore dives.
The Enduro seems to be the toughest but i am wondering if it's to a point where the diver is restricted in movements or trim damaged by a too stiff suit?
What about the Elite owners, it's materials seems tough... enough?
And what about the durability of the suits' options, e.g tbe flexsoles or orher boots. What about their smart seals systems in real life? And those plastic zips supposed to be more durable than metal zip?

    Cheers
    Nicolas
my experience of the Elite is that
    seams have leaked,
    it's holed in other places,
the flexsole boots are truly crap and had to be replaced,
the metal zip failed (porous fabric part) and had to replaced,
    the braces lost their elasticity,
the internal chest pocket has a die cast zip that corroded and failed,
the backing of the pocket material fell apart

it looks the part and is OK to wear but I doubt I'd buy another.

There are other suits out there that are harder wearing and more dependable, but I have yet to find the perfect suit.

OK, update that I forgot about.

My elastic suspenders lost their stretch a long time ago. I just have them adjusted where they still work for me.

The tape has come loose from the seams on the legs in many places and I had to glue it back on. The seams have never leaked though.

Pretty much the same feedback I experienced over here. I went for an O Three instead. Great customer service.

Wow that's not a very good track record, did this happen to you all in 1 suit?
Which year did you buy it?
I am asking because i believe Santi listens market feedbacks and improve their products over time.

    Cheers

    That's a good one :D
How did you glue these, just some layer of aquaseal or something more tricky?
