    virgin deepwater shipwreck

We recently checked out a potential wreck number that turned out to be quite extraordinary. The site looks to be a nineteenth century sidewheel steamer, and could very well be a Civil War blockade runner originally built for one of the richest Americans in history, Cornelius Vanderbilt. Here is a short teaser...more will be presented on this wreck in the near future.

Also, here is a glimpse of what we had to deal with for two hours on deco. These rats were not that big of a deal, just more of a nuisance...

some nice video taken of great wreck site. I have never seen so many Lionfish parked all over one wreck site before. They have absolutley exploded there.

Also 120 Nmiles seems a bit far for that size boat or is the seas like glass all the time in this part of the world?

Fantastic find--something most of us will never see because we haven't done the epic work necessary to find such a thing absent dumb luck. Thanks for sharing...and kill those damn lion fish next run ;)
