If the group feels those posts deserve an actual thread for us to drone on and on with I will create it. PM me if you wish to see that thread kept alive.

Until then, stay focused on the tragedy and what we actually know.

Note that for the purposes of the EN61508 required safety case requiring the tracking and publishing of applicable accidents DL is very separate from OSEL.... and the Db is not held or maintained in the UK!

It would only be slanderous if proven to not be true, no?
Taking what Wrecked picked up on "The rEvo III hCCR used is a non CE certified rebreather that has no flood recovery capabilities and whose manufacturer refuses to fit a bailout valve to enable the diver to bail off onto a known safe gas in case of emergency"
Was that particular rEvo III hCCR CE'd?
Can you recover a rEvo from a flood?
Is it supplied with a BOV?
In itself, it may have no specific relevance to the fatality but it appears not to be misleading or false information....

AFAIK as result of being sued (unsuccessfully I understand) as part of the Barrett case, DL then included the individual names and links to the incidents to highlight that at least that many incidents were known to exist and that they were not just making fatalities up. Prior to that point they didn't publish the divers names.....
First off RIP Daren. Your statement regarding the Revo is laughable.would love to know what you point is but not the time or place.Well done monkey!!

after 14 days, we still have got zero info of what happened. Different instances have offered help for investigation. We have not clue yet.

as for the shamefull behaviour of BH and his gang, maybe they can just start showing some ethics, and start removing the living people from their 'death list'

for anybody's interest: no rebreather in the USA can have a CE, but the identical model in Europe, with the M26 thread on the O2, is fully CE type approved.

posting a users opion as a fact shows clearly that these people have zero interest in finding out what really happens

Sad. I thought it was someone else I knew for a moment. But after looking at his picture I don't recall meeting Daren before.

Did my deco class at Bluewater, don't remember the deep end being all that interesting. But it is dark and chilly.

Sounds like there won't be any further official investigation.

Scuba diver's body found in Pelham shows 'no foul play, no indication of any crime' | AL.com

Patrick noted a piece of equipment called a re-breather that Gray had been using during his dive at the Pelham facility. After contacting U.S. Navy personnel in Pensacola, Fla., about testing it, Patrick was told it would cost about $12,000.

"We don't have $12,000 to do that, and we don't suspect a crime," he said. "We closed our investigation and have no further follow up to it."

I cannot understand why any sane person gives any credence to any comments made on this forum by Mr Horn. It is quite evident anything anybody answers is not want he wants to hear. He is wasting his talents ,he should be in Federal Australian Politics I am sure the Palmer Party could use him.

yes, but sadly not everybody who finds the list with falsified 'facts' is on the forums
