    In Florida it's illegal to hunt or collect while on a rebreather. Looks like that might change when it comes to hunting lion fish.

    Most of the lion fish I have seen are prety small but I have seen one or two 2lb+ ones

    oh yes, they taste very good
    we had coocking show in grand caymen, tasting etc
    they explained the huge problem with the lion fish, local restaurants start to have them on the menu, everybody is aware of the problem

    There is a seafood restaurant on Cozumel, "La Perlita", which features Lionfish heavily in its menu. Very good when well prepared.
