    Sensor failure data

    Hello all

I want to gather some data about sensor failure.

please answer only for yourself, not for anybody else
please answer only for the unit(s) you are diving yourself
please answer only for the period from January 1st 2013 till December 31 2013

    the question is:

'How many sensors, less than 1 year old, did fail on your unit, over the last year'

('less than 1 year means: sensors that were installed before the ultimate install date given by the manufacturer, and failed in less than 1 year after installation!)

.... The noise is a few tens of nano-volts, so DL were able to reduce the output voltage ...
.... radial scrubbers give longer dwell time than axials...

Paul, I had 3 sensors failing last year, but strangest thing is they all started to give extreme high partial pressures.
In the past when they failed, they gave lower values or sudden death.

Zero issues on cells since switching to Narked@90 about four years ago.

David, for this poll we only look at sensors younger than 1 year hé.

failing high is one of the failure modes, it's not unusual

I just got around to testing my cells with N@90 mini cell checker, and it failed my 1 year old cells (-7%, with -5% as a cut off).(just under 100mv (97-99mv)

These are vandagraph cells. I was wondering if thats a conservative failure number? I'm not looking to push cells, but I dont want to be overly aggressive in replacing them either.

Couple of AP's. My meg sensors have to get thrown out, they never fail prematurely.
