    Since going to my GEM I no longer see a need for OC. If I am farting round in the quarry maybe. If nitrox isn't easily available, for sure. For any charter that I will do, it's SCR. There are no plans on packing doubles ever again!

    Did try using my rebreather kayak diving in 15 meters, but concluded that a side mount 7 liter bailout cylinder filled with 50% is probably a better tool for the job in this case...

    Normally I would use the rebreather for everything else apart from doing shallow rescue cover or teaching beginners OC.
