    IWR Symposium in San Diego

    Aloha, everyone!

I've been asked to post the following announcement to this forum, concerning a symposium on In-Water Recompression to be held at the end of April in San Diego. This is a topic, near & dear to me personally, that re-surfaces about every ten years or so within the technical diving community (and has been discussed elsewhere on this forum, e.g.: here). It is a topic that is relevant to rebreather diving not only because rebreather divers tend to find themselves in situations that potentially warrant IWR (i.e., deep decompression diving in remote places), but also because rebreathers can play an important role in facilitating effective IWR strategies.

    Aloha,
    Rich

As someone who has hacked a couple of IWRs together over the years, I'm totally in. It'll be great to hear how to do it properly!

Hello Rich, nice to see you here again. Thanks for the post, sounds great. I'm sure many of us would like to hear more on the latest IWR thinking. I hope the speakers will post some stuff here, or maybe video some of the talks so those of us who can't attend can learn more... -Andy
