    Dining options in Roatan

    Hello,
I was approached by one of my friends asking for dining recommendations in Roatan; I have not been there yet so I had nothing to offer.
May I please get some suggestions so I can pass them along.
    Thank you in advance,
    Chris

Depends on where they are staying- what part of the island. Lately, Roatan has been getting mixed press with violence towards tourists- every time I have been there I have stayed at Anthony's Key, all inclusive so no need to leave the resort. Seems to be the best option now as it is safer, especially at night.

Geo's in French Harbor was awesome. Also, Rick's on the main road. Been a long time since I've been there. No seeums ruined me. Fantasy Island had a great buffet. Friday was seafood with all you could eat. Crab, yes. Lobster, yes-----probably "shorts." Plenty of em though.

Berties and Miss B on the water in Coxen Hole (moved from its former location on Flowers Bay Road) -- the place does not look like much, but the garlic grouper is phenomenal.
In West End, Cafe Escondido is great.
Geo's in French Harbor is OK.
