I had a look at one at the NEC dive show and they are very cool. Apparently thwy took 3 years to get right hence the price of £1000 more than the normal shearwater. However it looks cool and very well made.
The display was so much clearer than i expected.

I have to agree, that was my first thought too. Would love to have seen a mask or head mountable option for Bailing out- maybe that will come if they do a follow up for OC divers?

The display is mounted to the DSV, so when you go BO you switch to a normal 2. stage and throw away the DSV (And the display would not be visible any more).

So mounting it on the mask would make more sense when thinking BO situations...

    Yep

And specialy when your forced to go stages, it must be non-complicated to use.
I feel as you still need something stable 'in your visual field'.

Until now that's the main reason why I'm hesitating ...
