248 m in Font Estramar ( FRANCE )by Xavier Méniscus

    Hi All,

Few words to relate Xavier Meniscus's dive in Font Estramar ( South France ).
The 16.08.2013 he reached the awesome depth of 248 m.
The previous dives were stopped at 190m with no obvious continuation ( 3 previous dive with 3 différent divers ).
Xavier found a huge shaft hided behind a rock wave.
The shaft continue, ended dive because of too rich gas .

    Technical data.

double side-back-mounted joki, twin 12 TX 7/80, UV18DV, bonex reference staged at 104 m for backup.
VR3 pyle stop for deco, plus liquivision and secu tables, ppo2 1.4 on dive and 1.5-1.6 on déco, pure 02 from 9m in water with air break, last 3 hours in habitat at 6m, total dive 10H30

The diver was fine and comfortable at the end of the dive.

For this dive he was mainly acting as an active member of the ARFE association and was helped both by ARFE divers, divers from French Fédération (FFESSM) more precisely RABA région, sévéral international divers mainly from switzerland.

    More to know later

    Regards

    Marc
