    Rebreather support in Curaçao

Planning a possible trip to Curaçao in November, can anyone provide the name of a dive centre or operator that supports both SCUBA and Rebreather diving? Diving a MEG and will need bottles, sodasorb, and BO bottles for 3-4 rebreather divers. And any comments on the quality of diving as never have been to Curaçao. Have been to Bonaire so is it comparable?

I've been there 3 times on OC because there's NO support there for CCR. There was a guy on this board, Jante, who lives there and he had some bit of support but he's sold his rEvo and tins and is back to OC. Diving is very good there though, even on OC.

I spent a few weeks there last year and my impression is you will not find any RB support there.

The only CCR spport on the Island was from Jan... He decided to start a family and enjoy other endeavors and has given up CCR... No big critters on the island but the deep water very close to shore is great..

If you want to do CCR you will have to bring everything with you.. You would have to arrange o2 from an industrial supplier or the hospital...

Wow. There's a change I never saw coming. Dude did solo 40-50m wall dives on his Revo maybe 3-4 times a week. I guess that little honey of his finally displayed the "mama wolverine" side she alluded to. Bye, bye Curacao, it was nice while it lasted.

With advance notice, we were able to get sofnolime and boosted O2 at Go West (formerly Ocean Encounters West) in Westpunt. This was around Thanksgiving last year.

Come dive with us in Cozumel Mexico, we offer full CCR support and we have much better tacos here than they do in Curacao.

Yes. Stayed at a great place on the beach which could fill O2. Diving was great and some great wrecks. Take your tanks and kitty litter or ship ahead.

Go West diving in Westpunt has a Haskell and is happy to boost O2. They need about 30 days to arrange for sorb to be there, but they were able to provide sorb at a very reasonable price. The only downside is that they do not have tanks so you're going to have to bring your own.
