    Save function on V-Planner/multi deco

    Hi

could someone clarify the save function.

is it simply a more accurate means that allows v-planner to correctly calculate your deco, lets say between one dive and other, by saving your loading data based on the actual dive?

Alternatively use the planner to calculate the dives in mind, however this would not take into account if there were deviations from the plan?

    Is this correct?

    Thanks

This will save your tissue state from the planned dive. Then on the next time you use the program, the surface interval specified will apply to create a follow on dive.

would it be better to save the actual dive as it unfolded, bearing in mind any deviations from original plan?

For this, you can use the dive tabs along the top. It will plan up to a sequence of ten dives. Here you can fiddle and change and see the results, just by pressing the Calc button. If you carry that sequence, then press save and you start again next time on the next sequence, using the SI from dive one.
