    Even I have not been able to manage that kind of damage. Mel Clark can testify as to how badly I was smashed into the cave ceiling by my training buddy during our scooter class, and still not that kind of damage.

    The unit has not fallen at any point that I've owned it (bought new). As to how this got so mangled, I haven't a clue. I'm quite careful with my gear so this is a real mystery. I was in some tight areas last couple of weeks but not on a scooter so...

    The case looked 'ok' but I'm going to check it a bit closer this afternoon when I get home.

    this is the typical damage we see when a unit has fallen off of some hight, and hitting first one side of the top handle. Not that you dropped it, but could it have happened somewhere?
