    truk gear.. can light?

    is it worth hauling a can light to truk, or just go the handheld?

    i know i saw someone with a gear listing here previously.. but i searched and searched and cannot find the post again

    I took two can lights on my last trip to Truk. Recommend you do the same as you won't find a replacement if your primary light fails.

    Depending on the penetration you're planning... I'd say the more light the better when your deep inside where all the good stuff is.

    Depends on if you have the baggage weight allowance to spare. I was lugging a bunch of camera gear so opted to save weight where I could. I took two Light Monkey 9W handheld lights and they more than did the job, even on the night dives, for a fraction of the weight.
