    DSV Service

Just a friendly reminder to say when you service your DSV, need to follow the instructions closely... If you don't, theres a good chance your DSV will not hold a neg test.

Well yes... when you open up the DSV you will have lube everywhere and natural assumption is to clean then lube o rings and reinstall... Wrong. Thing would not hold a neg.

Instructions clearly state not to lube on the o-rings, only the inside of the dsv, plus specific instructions on how to reinstall the barrel. Once you follow the instructions specifically, all is good.

I've had that happen, If you lubricate the O-ring it will slip out and get pinched while you are inserting the barrel back into the DSV body and you will have an open loop. thatís why now whenever I do anything maintenance wise I immediately pull a neg and pos to make sure I didnít bugger something up.
