First time traveling with rEvo II Std.

Im headed off to Gilboa quarry tomorrow morning and Im going to try to get away with carrying my rEvo on the plane.. I saw these collapsible fabric cases at ikea yesterday and thought they might work out well. The pics are of the unit all wrapped up and almost ready to go as a back pack. Im going to tidy up the straps but I think this little case is going to work.

    Wish me luck!!

Be aware o dis-like nationality issues. Swedish covers on Belgian rebreathers can get hairy. :D Nice idea though, let us know how it works out, I just bought a 2 standard myself and I'm thinking of solutions.

On the plane with the rEvo and my roller bag, they didn't even bat an eye.

I bought a backpackcover at REI and use a web strap around the whole thing. I place the loop and my bailout regs around the outside.

The look at TSA is priceless! and it fits in the overhead on planes without a problem.

Hmmm as nice as the rei cover is I think the scubb is a clear winner at a price of $6.99!

Do either of you have your tanks on it by the way? I've considered taking the valves off and leaving them attached in the future.

I do not have the tanks on, but they do fit under the cover.

No tanks, but they would easily fit.

Made it to Chicago with no problems other than having to lug the rEvo a long ways. It gets heavy fast!
