Since 2002 I have Kissed Dragers. I am now on my fourth Drager iteration ( this is like no other Drager seen) and am contemplating best location for the sensor package. In the past designs I have always put two sensors into the inhale cl because that is probably the most dry part of the loop.
However conventional wisdom is to put them in the scrubber head but when I have spoken to sensor manufacturers they always tell me that most moisture is detected just above the scrubber head due to the heat generated by the exothermic reaction of the sorb.

Sensors in the head are protected by hard casing where as in the lung they may be more prone to damage but I have never suffered damage to the sensor package in the lung.
