    July 4th Dive Trip Report

Every year for July 4th, we have made a tradition of diving a site called the wreck trek. It's 3 wrecks which sit in 70' just off the coast of Fort Lauderdale. All of them are within swimming distance of each other, and it allows for a nice long 3 hour dive with little to no decompression obligation. It's a nice relaxing dive, with a BBQ held afterwards.

This year with a boat capacity of 20 divers, we actually had to turn people away. (We did allow one OC diver who was formerly on an Optima to join us.) Sea's were nice and sporty, and the visibility was not the greatest for us here, but it was still a fun day overall.

Here's the video of the event.

Cool video. There was even an O2ptima in the water, those are more rare than Mola Mola these days!

Actually, the Optima didn't make the water. Rough seas popped it out of the bungee and it hit the deck, splitting the hoses where they enter the head.

Said optima diver spent his time on the deck.
