    idi 71 scrubber PSCR...anyone???

What would be the practical limits running a single Idi scrubber on a PSCR with about a 4 to 1 ratio in 65 degree water?

This is not a soda lime that will provide long time protection, provides low breathing resistance.
You have a diagram of the SCR CVR (idi 71), has a canister of CO2 before or after bellows breathing?
There are several versions of the SCR with the family.
    A little-known variant.

far to high WOB, and/or low duration if using large grain sorb

... and never use 4-8 sodasorb in low temperature with that scrubber !!!

...."Yes you have to pre-breathe to activate the scrubber sorb, anyone who says different doesn't know what they are talking about!"...
.... to get more accurate CO2 injection in the breathing machine we put 2 mass flow controllers in series ...
.... The noise is a few tens of nano-volts, so DL were able to reduce the output voltage ...
.... radial scrubbers give longer dwell time than axials...
.... the earth is flat and ...

has a canister of CO2 before or after bellows breathing?
Here an example in which the SCR CVR absorber is to have the breathing.
The whole produced CO2 is trapped in the absorber. It has other advantages.

1:4 exchange ratio is not economical, is too large.

I know this is not the most economical setup gas wise. Just trying to get some idea as to what is the practical duration of said scrubber would be under the perimeters stated. Thanks

    Wrong question.
Will work but less than the fine grain size, will have little resistance to breathing.
Small lime gives more breathing resistance and longer time of protection.
Browse through my posts, there are several annexes and to understand what is happening.

It has a large dust and absorption less than a Molecular, poor product on the market.
You have available: Intersurgical, Molecular, Draeger, Atrasorb.
