Studying the physics of bubble formation in the human body during deep, long duration diving has led a researcher at the Department of Energy's Los Alamos National Laboratory to discover a new system of dive tables. What are deco algorithms, what is the difference between the dissolved gas and bubble model? Which model works best? And how do you come up with a model? We asked all of these questions and then some to Bruce Wienke.
