Hi Matt
have had a lot of fun with the Ray this year but not managed to get my thermal monitoring sorted out to my own satisfaction. I've got a plan to get it to work better over the winter. At present the problem is that, having gone over to the long scrubber it only monitors about 2/3 of the length and so doesn't give any useful data for about half the dives. I've also had a slightly scary leak of seawater into my scrubber via the port I'm using for the cables.... New solution to this is to make the thermal monitoring a totally wireless system - hence back to the drawing board for now.
What data I have got suggests that the scrubber is fully warmed up (ie the 'clean' end getting hot, after about 2h40mins...
How about you - are you getting much diving in with your unit ?
oh yes - Merry Christmas !
Chris
