Deadlight Subs off Malin Head, Ireland

    Hello RBW,

I've been playing at shooting video over the last few busy months, and here is the first 2 results with hopefully more to follow if I ever find the time to get home, never mind edit the footage!

The Camera is a Canon 5D Mk2 stills camera in a Hugyfot housing and thee lens is Canon L2 14mm.

You can find both movies here (one is called Malin Head and the other is called U-155) YouTube - filmingunderwater's Channel and for those that don't know, select the 720p setting in the bottom right hand of the screen for best quality.

It's my first attempt with the stills camera and I believe better results will come, but for a 75m (200'?) wreck dive in UK waters I think the camera did ok.

Hopefully I will get more time to upload more when I get back to the UK, but for now I hope you enjoy these 2

    Regards

    Rich Stevenson

Awesome footage Rich.... Gopping soundtrack though

    Very clearly shows-
A, How good the diving around Malin is.
B, How far "stills" cameras have come!

    Thanks for posting.
