The date has been set for the 16th & 17th of October 2010. We are pleased to confirm we will be holding the event at the same excellent location, the International Convention Centre in Birmingham England. see venue.

    Tickets are selling well and 2010 delegates are encouraged to buy tickets sooner than later to avoid disappointment. Eurotek passes offer two-day and single-day access respectively to the Speaker presentations, seminars and workshops as well as the equipment exhibition.

    Speakers & Seminars
    For the second installment of Eurotek we have signed just a few of the 2008 speakers as well as some new and exciting speakers many of which have never presented in Europe before. Our line up continues to offer unparalleled opportunities to listen to, and learn from, the very best that the world of diving has to offer. The 2010 line up features an international cast of speakers - each an acknowledged expert in their respective field of diving expertise all of whom will deliver presentations that have either never been given before or have been specifically tailored to fill the requirements of an advanced diving audience. This year we have technical divers from all over Europe that have been engaged in deep wreck diving as well as some serious long distance cave diving projects. We have a wealth of cave diving talks from all corners of the world and we know for sure that the wreck/cave diving talks we have lined up are going to be rich in photography!

    The ICC EUROTEK venue boasts state-of-the-art auditoriums with comfortable seating and full A/V presentation facilities. When not hosting EUROTEK the venue caters for International Submit meetings, Political Parties conferences as well as television broadcasting such as News night and many more. I'm processing all the ticket applications. In order to try and keep costs to a minimum we're doing everything via email. In a couple of weeks time I will be writing to everyone to confirm individual bookings. You need to print this email off and bring it with you and present to the Registration Staff to receive your pass.

    Update time regarding Hotel Accommodation

    Two and a half months out and the official main EUROTEK.2010 Hotel - the City Inn - is about to become fuller than a full thing.

    We've therefore got another official EUROTEK.2010 Hotel - the Novotel, Broad Street. This is a 4 Star hotel; each guest room has a flat screen TV and wireless internet access and there's the opportunity to relax in the sauna after a work out in the fitness room.

    This is also a handy 5 - 8 minute stroll to the ICC. Of equal importance, according to Google Maps, the Novotel is a 465ft or 1 minute walk to the Bar at the City Inn, where all the speakers, exhibitors and some of the delegates will be drinking. The Novotel details can be found by following this link http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-...re/index.shtml To reserve a room, quote 1308 to get single occupancy including Full English Breakfast (worth 13.50 per head) and VAT @ 85 per night, or double/twin occupancy including Full English Breakfast and VAT @ 95 per night. Please note if you are booking a Twin this comprises a Queen Sized Bed and a Three Quarter Sofa Bed.

    Re: Eurotek 2010 July 2nd update

    Whilst Leigh has been working his boney fingers to the bone sorting out a sumptious speaker list, Crispin (our designer), has been ubber creative.

    Back by popular demand, we've teamed up again with Fourth Element to bring you quality limited edition gorgeous clothing that's easy to wash 'n' wear and unique to EUROTEK.2010. Follow the link;

    diving conference merchandise

    I know it seems like an eon way, but it's only 9 weeks and counting......! In order to get the tshirts and hoodies ordered in time, I will need final numbers and payment by Friday 3rd September latest! (rozATeurotekDOTukDOTcom)

    We'd like to get you all registered quickly on Saturday morning, so we're going to have your clothing ready for collection at reception from lunchtime on Saturday 16th or Sunday 17th October. In the unlikely event you're not attending, but you want a shirt, by all means get in contact and I'll let you know postage and pack prices.

    We will have some stock for sale on the day, but this will be limited in numbers, sizes and sex. So if you definately want a Girl Cut Size 12, or a male XXL (Chest Size 48 - 50") don't leave it to chance.

    Prices are;

    GBP15.32 + VAT = GBP18 Pre-ordered Tshirts.
    GBP18.72 + VAT = GBP22 On the Day

    GBP37.87 + VAT = GBP44.50 Pre-ordered Hoodies.
    GBP40.43 + VAT = GBP47.50 On the Day

    Finally we've been asked about the diver on the DPV. It's Carl. The silhouette was lifted from one of Leigh's photographs. We thought it would be a suitable and fitting tribute.
