From a Google search landing on a blog, it seems FedEx delivers their packages in the USA.

Contact the customs broker and ask what tarriff code they used when filling out the clearance documentation. If not the same then tell them it is incorrect and provide the correct code. Ask for a credit back on the invoice for the duties incorrectly calculated.

Its the customs broker job to get the code correct. If they are not sure they are required to contact the shipper. Usually, they guess because its faster to do it and leave the person paying to complain which they normally do not take the time to do.

    The fees are always changing.
It's quite difficult to get by without a broker.
