I'm a hard core Republican, but that was one of the funniest comments I have heard here on RBW!

DUDE- best get fitted for a tin foil hat & also, you might want to ignore the new sounds over your home. The ones made by the black helicopters w/ no markings.............

Oh, and by the way- their web crawling spiders just landed you on the NO-FLY list!!!

(Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't preclude that they're not people REALLY out there trying to get you!!!)

Yes, that's what the press release says............The reality is somewhat different. As all the people bitching about "no representation" were the landed "gentry" of course they gave a toss about taxation. The great unwashed were of course, the great unwashed and remain so to this day. The indians of course, well we all know what happened to them..

There are schools of thought who suggest (even within those US of A) that the "revolution" was really about breaking the Crown's treaties with the tribes allowing the subsequent sweep across the continent.....but I never said that.

I also never said that the acquisitions of Texas and the former Mexican territories that aided and abetted the conquest of the west were just a massive land grabbing exercise ......

Aside from all the political humor, since I have been trying to figure out the best way to travel by air with sorb, this thread actually has a bit of useful advice. Every breather diver I know refers to sorb as kitty litter already, and now we know that it works to fill an actual kitty litter container with sorb and travel with it.

Now I just need to figure out how to make sure my wife does not confuse the sofnolime with actual kitty litter, lest the cats become unwitting participants in a chemistry experiment to determine what happens when you mix soda lime with cat-P Not to mention the opportunity to figure out whether extra-absorbant kitty litter is actually absorbant enough to absorb CO2. Think of the money we all could save!

    Re: TSA rejects Sorb!

I have flown a lot. Everywhere from Bogota to Sydney and everywhere in between. Miami airport is the worst airport I have ever been. When we arrived an hour late, and close to missing our transfer to Cancun, the people in the queue ahead of me kindly let me though to the front as I had around 10 minutes to collect my bags, recheck them on (why?).

The passport-stamping feller sent me to the back of the queue saying "This is America. We don't do that here!?"

I'd be interested in knowing the best way from the UK to Cancun, avoiding Miami. NY involves a change of airports. Perhaps Dallas? Or Madrid.

Hey Janos, not exactly sure where you are, BUT, Martinair offers nonstop from Amsterdam to Cancun... its KLM/Martinair 1 stop from London-Heathrow (to Amsterdam) to Cancun
