    Obsessed

    Hey everyone,

I have been obsessed with diving since I was really little. I'm a college student in Vermont, and I am completely new to rebreathers. I read mastering rebreathers but that was a pretty general text. Can anyone point me to other more technical resources about rebreather design/diving physiology. I dive open circuit a lot (about every weekend in-season and a few times through the winter). It will be some time before I have the resources to dive rebreathers but I plan on learning as much as I can until then.

    Kris

I'm in the same boat, but a bit more land locked. Talk to local instructors, the try dive I did was well worth the drive and money.

Get the life support systems design book from your uni library loan program. Well worth the read and its free that way.

I'm not sure how much of a RB community there is up in VT, but I visit Burlington fairly routinely and would be happy to give you some hands on time at some point in exchange for a tour of the local waters.
