    Dive rite Surface Marking Tube

    anyone used one of these?

    as i understand it you need to close the inflation tube before releasing.
    seems like a bit of a kerfuffel compared to the H tube?

    It looks pretty much like the older dive rite SMB that I have and they just added an oral inflater to it.

    You don't need to close anything, just inflate and let go.

    I've been using one for several months. It's basically an open bottom bag (non-spill) w/ the option to inflate using a lp inflator hose. Rolls up & fits in a drysuit pocket.
