    G'Day Michael,

    Thanks for publishing these presentations.

Found of particular note the scientific accident investigation findings at min30 of Jeff Godfrey's presentation interesting, as that level of accurate post fatality detail does not appear to be the norm, offering a lot to learn from.
Dave ******'s presentation on the differing ways to configure bailout gas directly to a BOV was also of interest, with the inclusion of examples
    Regards
    Brad

I was a bit surprised at this myself, but also found it reassuring that accidents are being evaluated well. I am not sure who was on the evaluating committee for this partocular incident, however I do know that folks within the NURC community run a tight ship and all incidents would be evaluated similarly. It would be useful to contact them for info on their accident analysis protocols, with hopes of incorporating some form of these same procedures as a standard more industry wide.

Jeff is here on RBW from time to time, and I know that he can be reached at his office with any questions

    Hi folks,

The DVD version of the 2010 Northeast Rebreather & Advanced Diving Technology Workshop Presentations is now available.

This is a 3-DVD set, and includes all of the individual presentations that have been seen here on RBW via the Youtube versions. Our intent in making these available via DVD is to create a permanent archive of the info presented that day, and to serve as a training aid for related courses and educational programs.

100% of the proceeds from sales will go towards a subsequent event.

This was a great time in January, is anything similar in the works for this season?

unfortunately not for this winter, as I've been incredibly busy in the field.

However, talks are underway for next winter, with the hopes of a larger scale event (more talks, try dive opportunity, more hands-on, etc)

Never to early for anyone to pass along suggestions. I've had losts of constructive feedback from the last go-around, and will do my best to coordinate another good event...

The event will include formal presentations by several confirmed speakers, opportunities for roundtable/show&tell of various rebreathers & components, a chance to mingle with your peers, and lunch.

Pre-registration is required by Dec 15, as space is limited. $20 pre-registration includes coffee, a light lunch, and an event t-shirt.

Please see the attached .pdf with more specific information, as well as info on how to register.

We are seeking sponsors to offset some of the costs for this. Anyone interested is welcome to contact me for a sponsor packet.

I can think of no better way to break up the woes of winter here in the cold, wet northeast...hope to see you there! More info to come

    Mike
