Need some S.C.R.U.B. advice for Labor Day Weekend

Hi all. I'm thinking about going to Ft. Lauderdale for Labor Day weekend and want to get some dives in. I will have my very recreational girlfriend (recreational diver, that is ) so I will need to do one day of shallow reef dives and I would like to hit some deeper wrecks with extended profiles on the second day. I would like to do everything w/ one shop and will need sorb and rental tanks for the rEvo + BO cylinders. I think we will be staying at the Hilton on the beach if that helps at all.

Anyway, just looking for recommendations for nearby boats and/or shops that can help me out and to see if anyone is diving that weekend and needs a buddy.

    Thanks in advance!
    Ryan

Go to fill express for fills & rentals. Call Avid Divers for a charter. Oliver will take you wherever you want (shallow reefs, shallowy wrecks to deep wrecks).

Sounds like maybe one of those Tracy dives that some love and others hate

The wrecks of the Tracy, Scutty, and Mercy Jesus sit within swimming distance of one another in 70 feet. It's a great dive for OC and CCR divers, as the ccr guys can get one long 2.5-3 hour runtime with no deco, and the OC folk can get 2 dives in.

    Everyone is happy.

We could get Oliver to do it no problem, or Enzo if we have more than 6 interested. I'm game.

Maybe also a hydro dive or similar.

My plans are yet to be finalized... My GF will be coming back from Utila Saturday, so Saturday AM would be the time for a tech drop...
Sunday and Monday we were talking about recreational stuff...

Fill Express for fills and bottles, they will have 2 and 3L tanks w/ the funky valves.. Plenty of rb friendly operations to pick from. Oliver is the preferred 6pack.

If you need sorb by the lb, I'm not sure FX does that... We can hook you up from our stashes if needed...

For $25/day. I have some Faber 3L complete with revo mounts which can be borrowed if needed.

    They don't.

Howard's bitching aside, the Tracy/Scutty/Mercy dive is an excellent one for long shallow runtimes and an OC mix.

This means your GF and a certain other blonde diver can join us on OC.
