    Post in Moderation?

How long for moderated posts to appear?

At the request of his family, I posted some information about upcoming funeral services for Phil Patz in this thread and got a notice that the post would be moderated before it appeared. My first post here (long-time lurker, though) so I understand but with the Holiday weekend coming up we were hoping to get the word out before people logged out and went diving.

Is there anything I can do to expedite the process?

Should I start a new thread in the Memorial Forum?

    Re: Post in Moderation?

Unfortunately, the Memorial Forum seems to be the target of more spammers than any other forum. Its quite sickening to seen porn spam in a memorial thread for a close friend. Given this, the decision was made quite a while ago to make all posts in the memorial forum require approval by a moderator or administrator. We don't receive any notifications that these posts have been made, but can see when we look at new posts that there are posts that require approval.

Apologies that in this case they were missed for 20hours. I've just logged back in (back at work after 3 days off) and noticed the posts, approved them, then saw this.

Hope all this helps, and feel free to reply here or drop me a PM if there are any other issues.

    Cheers, CD
