    Sort of hijack here:

The TSA in Guam were nice guys this last summer, one of them even knew about RB's, I told him that the Meg in my rollaboard was a CCR, he then responded:

"ah, yes, a rebreather, so where is the yellow case?"

It was pretty funny. The cylinders were in a Coleman cooler, the standard "Micronesian Samsonite", did not have any issues, the valves were in the same cooler with some duct tape and a note from me asking that they please retape the cooler when they were done with the inspection. Worked great. The guys in Chuuk never batted an eye...

    Dive safe,

    Celia

Not sure how easy this is to do on a Meg, but when I travel abroad, I usually get an 80 of O2 and an 80 of dil and strap them where the 3li tins normally go. I find the trim is actually better, and of course you have a huge amount of bailout. :)

Additionally, 80's are plentiful and therefore you don't get ridiculously high "rental" charges either.

Configure your Meg so you can quick connect in O2 to the solenoid, and Dil to the ADV.

Yeah, this is exactly why I shipped 20 sets of breather tanks to Truk, a ton or sorb and a swag of stage gear setups! Just so that people can have a trouble free rebreather diving existence! Either way you are going to have hassles. But surely with the meg you can strap anything you want to on the sides of the can! it might look like a fridge on your back but hey!

Just take your tanks with you - its only money~!!!!
    Enjoy Palau.
