    Thumbs up Cave Diving Rescue in Rebreather...

    An exercise of rescue on cave diving was held on April 13, 2008.

    1400 m travelled in a sump with a stretcher cave diving.

    Teams are relayed to advance the stretcher.

    Two divers remained throughout the course with the stretcher was in rebreather.

    This stretcher will be soon equipped with rebreather.

    Here are two film, the first is the television news shows divers with rebreather.

    The second, shown in greater detail the stretcher.

    That's quite an undertaking! I thought the stretcher would get in the way rather than help but I guess I was wrong. The "victim" seems pretty comfortable too.

    That's me who was in the stretcher ...

    For the sump of 1400 m we have put 2 h 30.

    It is very comfortable, it is even heating ... :)

    The stretcher was a test - 60 m with a configuration trimix.

    At the moment we do not have any limitation in distance and depth.

    Two recycler will be installed on the stretcher and we will add propellers.

    This is the work of an entire team for 3 years.

    So if I understand this correctly, you have been transported on this stretcher for a 1400m cave exit with a 60m max depth in 2.5hrs? Man that's quite something!
    Once you add a couple of scooters and rebreathers to that stretcher it'll be something out of a James Bond movie. I hope you don't hit any restrictions.
