    as an option to rechargeable batteries needing a through hull or being removed -

    has anyone looked at how the Sonic Toothbrush recharges its battery via inductive coupling?

    the use of inductive coupling is wasteful of power but it allows a completely sealed system...
    just put a "charging cap" inductor over a sealed pickup inductor and let it go. this should not be that hard to engineer. basically it is a transformer in two pieces.

    just a thought.

    or better yet - reuse a Green Force F1 battery pack

    affix the male plug to the breather and spin the battery pack on/off - securing with velcro straps.

    you get 12v and LOTS of power.
